A dark, rich, glossy, delicious jam
Prepared with freshly harvested Elgin plums, the tartness of the fresh fruit counters the sugar well. Fresh plums are gently simmered with a lower than normal amount of sugar, lemon juice and the crushed plum pips (in a muslin cloth). Plums contain large amounts of pectin which naturally thicken the jam so no additives are used.

- Dollop onto yoghurt
- Accompaniment to game dishes and pork
